Gal recently posted an endearing photo on her Instagram profile, depicting her taking a breather from her workout routine while her daughter lounges beside her on a yoga mat. The picture captures Gal donning a retro-inspired Wonder Woman tank top and matching shorts that flaunt her well-toned arms and legs. Numerous fans of the famous actress, including Kate Hudson and Gisele Bündchen, couldn’t help but shower her with compliments and appreciation for this beautiful moment. To keep up with her fitness levels for her superhero roles, Gal invests two hours daily in intense Marvel workouts. Her personal trainer, Magnus Lygdback, devises customized workout routines focusing on specific body parts and allowing adequate recovery time.
Gal incorporated high-intensity interval training (HIIT) into her daily routine, which involved an intense workout on an assault bike and treadmill, along with abs exercises every day. Her trainer, Lygdback, designed a dietary plan that would provide her with enough fuel during the six-hour workout sessions. Gal consumed three nutritious meals and two snacks daily, which primarily consisted of whole foods, protein, complex carbohydrates, vegetables, and healthy fats. She avoided high-glycemic carbs such as white bread. For breakfast, Gal would often have poached eggs, quinoa, tomato, and avocado, while her snack comprised a small salad made with tomatoes, seeds, and cured meats. Lunch usually had grilled fish like tuna, paired with grilled bok choy, pickled radishes, baby broccoli, and peppers to sustain her energy levels.
During her lunch break, Gal savors a one-of-a-kind salad that includes grilled mackerel, guacamole, and seeds. Come dinnertime, she indulges in a hearty meal of steak, wild rice, kale, and kimchi. To keep fit, Gal takes part in low-intensity activities like paddleboarding and TRX when she’s not busy shooting. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Gal talks about her laid-back approach to staying in shape.
